  • MDP3   $163,291 - $169,648 p.a.  + super + salary packaging 
  • Full Time
  • Duration of the Training Program: From 01 June 2026 to 07 Jan 2029
  • Term of the Contract: 3 years (in line with clause 55 of the Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement).  At the end of the training program, CALHN will work with the employee to assist find a suitable placement within SA Health for the remainder of the 3-year contract, if necessary.

About the Role
Join our team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and build advanced interventional radiology skills in a high-performing service. You’ll deliver procedures, support patient care and contribute to research, education and service excellence alongside expert clinicians.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver interventional radiology and vascular services
  • Perform CT, ultrasound and fluoroscopic guided procedures
  • Assist endovascular and non vascular interventions
  • Report imaging and contribute to clinical meetings
  • Liaise with clinicians, nurses and imaging staff
  • Support teaching of registrars and students
  • Contribute to research, audit and service improvement

About You
You’re a motivated radiologist ready to grow your interventional skills while contributing to high-quality patient care. You bring strong clinical judgement, teamwork and a commitment to continuous improvement.

  • MBBS or equivalent with specialist registrable status
  • Fellowship with the The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) or completion of RANZCR Part 2 exams
  • Broad radiology experience across CT, MRI, US, procedures
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • Commitment to safe practice and quality improvement
