About the Role

Join our dedicated team at Port Lincoln Hospital as an Assistant in Nursing/Midwifery (AIN/M) within our casual talent pool. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting Enrolled and Registered Nurses/Midwives in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

In this role, you will contribute to the day-to-day care of patients by assisting with activities of daily living, supporting clinical procedures, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming healthcare environment. You will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, working under supervision while building your skills and confidence in a real-world healthcare setting.

How Will You Contribute?

  • Assist nurses and midwives in delivering safe, high-quality care, including supporting patients with daily living activities
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and culturally respectful environment for patients, families, and staff
  • Provide basic clinical and technical support, including preparing equipment and managing stock levels
  • Contribute to quality improvement and care outcomes through accurate recording and reporting of information
