About the Role

As a Services Assistant (Casual Pool) at Wudinna Hospital, you will play an important behind-the-scenes role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the health service. This is a hands-on, varied position where you’ll contribute across catering, cleaning, and laundry services to help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

From preparing and delivering meals to maintaining hygiene standards and assisting with linen and housekeeping duties, your work will directly support patient care and comfort. Working as part of a supportive team, you’ll report to the General Services Manager and contribute to delivering high-quality, reliable services across the hospital.

How Will You Contribute?

  • Assist with meal preparation, food service, and delivery to support patient care
  • Maintain cleanliness across the facility through housekeeping and infection control practices
  • Support laundry operations including washing, sorting, and distributing linen and uniforms
  • Contribute to a safe and efficient workplace by following food safety, hygiene, and work health standards
