Applications are now open for the Direct Care Worker (Residential) Casual Pool at Uringa Hostel and Tumby Bay Hospital! 

We are now accepting applications for Residential Carers to join our dedicated Aged Care team, on a casual basis, in providing a direct client service to residents of the Residential Care Home in Tumby Bay.

The Residential Carers provide a qualitative care for residents by assisting residents in personal hygiene and grooming, continence management, maintenance of mobility/dexterity, assistant with communicative aids, cleanliness and neatness of clients environment and more. 

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to relate to people from different cultures, backgrounds and circumstances
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Empathy and commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality
  • Ability to meet deadlines and timeframes
  • Experience in exercising your own judgment and initiative in the day to day execution of a position
