We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Occupational Therapist to deliver quality clinical services and provide professional leadership to the allied health team in the Limestone Coast region. As a Clinical Senior Occupational Therapist, the role involves the delivery of complex clinical services, consultancy, and leadership within a multi-disciplinary rural health context. The successful applicant will drive improvements in quality, safety, and service delivery, supporting both clients and less experienced staff through direct supervision and mentorship. You will be working alongside a highly experienced Clinical Senior Occupational Therapist as both roles support the Occupational Therapy department in close collaboration with each other.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver complex clinical and consultancy Occupational Therapy services across the Limestone Coast Local Health Network.
  • Lead and supervise the Occupational Therapy team, providing mentoring to less experienced therapists and allied health assistants.
  • Collaborate closely with allied health professionals, managers, and stakeholders on workforce development initiatives, service planning, and service redesign.
  • Clinically supervise, support, and educate staff and professional students.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, research, and evaluation activities across the network.
  • Participate in strategic workforce planning and service development, ensuring evidence-based, client-centred care

What We Are Looking For:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated extensive professional experience delivering Occupational Therapy services, including rural and/or specialty areas.
  • Proven leadership, line management, and clinical supervision skills.
  • Well-developed communication, team leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in service development, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Current unrestricted South Australian driver’s licence.
