About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Clinical Nurse within our Older Persons Mental Health Service.

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults experiencing mental health challenges.

You will be part of our team delivering comprehensive community-based care to clients requiring clozapine management. This role combines clinical excellence with community outreach, ensuring older persons receive the highest standard of mental health care.

What You'll Do:

  • provide specialised nursing care for older adults on clozapine therapy
  • conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised care plans
  • monitor medication compliance and manage side effects
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • support families and carers through education and guidance

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
