Overview

The Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN) is seeking a motivated Program Support Officer to join our Medical Education Unit (MEU) at Mount Gambier & Districts Health Service.

In this role, you will provide vital administrative support to the Medical Education Unit, assisting with the coordination and delivery of prevocational medical training programs, the Workplace Based Assessment (WBA) program, and the competency framework for International Medical Graduates (IMGs). You will also support the day-to-day operations of medical officer education, well-being, and development initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and providing administrative support for training and education programs.
  • Assisting with rostering, onboarding, compliance, and accreditation documentation.
  • Maintaining databases, processing invoices, and supporting travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Providing responsive and professional customer service to staff, stakeholders, and community partners.

About you:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience in administrative support, record keeping, and customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office administration systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and maintain confidentiality.
