About the role: 

Reporting to the Manager of Non-Invasive Cardiac Investigations, your duties for the role may include:

  • Responsible for performing high quality ECGs on hospital patients for both inpatient and clinic out-patients
  • Perform and process 24-hour ambulatory Holter monitoring, event monitor recordings and 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring
  • Initiating primary interpretation of paper data print outs for Holter and BP monitors
  • Arrange patient appointments and clinical follow-up episodes and co-coordinate work schedules appropriately
  • Maintain comprehensive and up to date data records and file management system
  • Carry out routine cardiac investigations, interpreting data results and providing preliminary reports to Cardiologists and research personnel
  • Provide coordination and leadership in the delivery of non-invasive cardiac services to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient team operations

About you:

  • Demonstrated ability to organize and place in priority order workload demands
  • Capacity to conduct responsibilities and activities in a manner which minimizes safety risk to self and others
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare high level, succinct and accurate reports
  • Experience using PC applications such as word and excel
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in conducting cardiac investigations, stress and ECG tests is preferred. Training will be provided as part of the onboarding process for selected candidates.
