Overview

Join our dedicated team at Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service as an Enrolled Nurse in our Medical Ward. This is your chance to contribute to high-quality care while expanding your nursing expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As an Enrolled Nurse, you’ll work closely with Registered Nurses and Midwives to provide person-centred care to surgical patients. From novice to proficient practice, this role offers growth opportunities while maintaining accountability for your nursing actions. You’ll assist in delivering care in line with regulatory and statutory requirements and be a key part of a multidisciplinary team working towards the best outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses/Midwives
  • Monitor and document patient health status
  • Contribute to a safe, compassionate, and supportive care environment
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs

About You

  • Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you will hold a current practising certificate.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to provide person-centred care.
  • Ability to prioritise workload,
  • Ability to recognise and report changes in clinical condition
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
