Overview:

  • The Business Manager is responsible for leading the provision of professional and responsive business support services across the Governance Advisory Services Branch and delivering expert business advice to the Executive Director, to support the effective and efficient functioning of the Branch.
  • The role includes overseeing the delivery of high quality HR, IT, finance, procurement, and contract management services across the Governance Advisory Services Branch, and ensuring all activities comply with legislative requirements, SA Health and whole of government policies and procedures.
  • The Business Manager is required to work closely with the Executive Director and Governance Advisory Services Leadership Group to provide information, analysis, operational support, advice and assurance on business matters of the Executive, and ensure all staff across the Branch have access to the business support they need to successfully deliver on Branch objectives and commitments.
  • The role also provides a financial management support service to the Executive Director, Governance and Advisory Services including leading financial planning and budgeting activities and providing guidance and advice regarding branch finances.
