About the role

As the Interventional Neuroradiology (INR) Fellow, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality interventional neuroradiology services at SAMI RAH, working under the expert guidance of Consultant Interventional Neuroradiologists. This fellowship position is tailored for a radiologist holding a FRANZCR, offering dedicated time to develop advanced skills in both interventional and diagnostic neuroradiology. You will benefit from hands-on experience, involvement in multidisciplinary meetings, and access to comprehensive educational resources, research facilities, and ongoing professional development.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will actively contribute to teaching registrars and participating in the department’s tutorial roster, supporting the education of both undergraduate and postgraduate trainees. You will be encouraged to undertake research projects and audits, with opportunities to present your work at national and international conferences. The role also includes participation in after-hours and on-call rosters, ensuring broad exposure to a diverse caseload in a supportive, collaborative environment dedicated to excellence in neuroradiology.

About You

You are a qualified and dedicated medical practitioner with advanced training in clinical radiology, prepared to excel in a specialised neuroradiology environment.

  • Qualifications & Registration
    Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, and eligible for Specialist registration as a Medical Practitioner.

  • Specialist Certification
    Specialist qualification, including successful completion of all components of the RANZCR Clinical Radiology Part 2 examinations.

  • Accredited Training
    At least four years of accredited practical training in Clinical Radiology, demonstrating a strong foundation in radiological practice.

  • Commitment to Excellence
    Proven dedication to continuous professional development and readiness to contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
