Overview:

The Infrastructure Directorate, as part of the Corporate and Infrastructure Division, supports the Department for Health and Wellbeing the Local Health Networks and Business Units in: strategic planning and evaluation of the public health system’s infrastructure requirements, managing SA Health’s capital program, providing executive leadership for SA Health’s built assets, delivering property and security services to SA Health, managing the delivery of biomedical engineering services.

The Strategic Asset Information Administrator is an integral part of the SA Health Asset Management team, within the Infrastructure Directorate and is responsible for:

  • Management of asset information that contributes to the strategic management of SA Health’s extensive and complex state hospital critical infrastructure and clinical/administrative property portfolio. 
  • Collection assets related data, undertake research and data investigation including analytical tasks, reporting, and monitoring of asset information. This includes identifying gaps and implementing improvement roadmaps to improve reporting efficiency and data quality such as development of internal visualising and reporting tools.
  • The role will work regularly with whole of SA government external provider of Asset Management Information System (AMIS) to assist in interfacing data from project systems into AMIS, to extract asset data, undertake validation and audit of accuracy of information and monitor transition of new asset data (capital projects and minor works).
  • The role will heavily support development of guidelines and processes and monitor compliance on asset information against SA Health Asset Management Policy and Strategic Asset Management Framework and to provide support to Infrastructure activities in the SA Health portfolio, and other duties as assigned from time to time.

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
