Overview:

  • The Manager, Mental Wellbeing and Suicide Prevention is responsible for the management of the Mental Wellbeing and Suicide Prevention team to meet the key objectives of the Population Health division, including supporting implementation of Preventive Health SAs strategic objectives, the South Australian Public Health Act, 2011, South Australian Suicide Prevention Act 2021, and other key mental health and wellbeing strategies and related planning.
  • The role is required to strategically engage with the whole of State Government, Commonwealth Government, Non-Government sector and Local Government to lead and support the development and delivery of universal, selected, and targeted prevention and population health partnerships, systems and programs, across the life course for improved mental wellbeing and suicide and injury prevention.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
