About the Role:

As a Direct Care Worker (Community) with the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN), you will deliver hands-on, client-focused services to people who are aged, frail, or living with a disability—supporting them to continue living safely in their homes with the help they need.

Reporting to the Community Care Coordinator and working closely with other community health professionals, you will be part of a collaborative, person-centred care team. Your duties may include assisting with personal care, domestic tasks, mobility support, and social engagement—tailored to each client’s needs and preferences.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.

Applicant Information

This is a multiple positions part time vacancy, hours to be negotiated and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements:

  • DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check 
  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
  • Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
