Join Our Team as a Clinical Senior Dietitian – Lead Excellence in Dietetics Across Rural and Remote Communities!

Are you an experienced clinician with a passion for leadership and advancing dietetics services in a rural and remote health setting? We’re seeking a Clinical Senior Dietitian to apply your clinical expertise and leadership to deliver and continuously improve quality dietetics care across the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN).

About the Role:

The Clinical Senior Dietitian is an experienced clinician who applies significant clinical and leadership expertise to the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of quality dietetics services appropriate to the rural and remote context. Operating within a multi-disciplinary service environment, you will uphold professional standards and provide complex clinical and consultancy dietetics services across RMCLHN.

As a clinical leader, mentor, and clinical supervisor, you will provide clinical support and profession-specific supervision to less experienced dietitians and play a leadership role in the clinical education of staff and professional students within the region. You will also play a leadership role in the Dietetics Network, collaborating with other Clinical Seniors to promote and contribute to research and evaluation to inform improvements in clinical practice.

You will be responsible for developing, nurturing, and promoting increased expertise and service improvements in your portfolio area, representing RMCLHN on relevant committees, and may be required to contribute to or manage relevant projects. Reporting to the Senior Manager Dietetics and receiving clinical support from either the Senior Manager Dietetics or Advanced Clinical Lead Dietitian, you will maintain cooperative working relationships with other Allied Health Professional Clinical Seniors, local team members, and key stakeholders across the region and state.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must hold a recognised qualification within the Nutrition and Dietetics profession and be eligible for full membership of the Dietitians Australia.
