Overview:

  • CEIH is seeking two Communications and Engagement Leads for an initial period of 6mths, with potential for extension.  The focus for these role will be strategic communication establishment and delivery for the recently established SA Comprehensive Cancer Network and the other will focus on CEIH strategic communications needs and process improvements, with a view to aligning and understanding resourcing requirements to meet the strategic communications of CEIH and the  SA Comprehensive Cancer Network in the longer term.
  • The Communications and Engagement Lead is responsible for ensuring the development and successful implementation of the CEIH communications strategy, which includes designing, delivering and evaluating targeted communications plans, campaigns, promotions and publications that successfully support the work of the CEIH and its Statewide Clinical Networks.
  • The Communications and Engagement Lead is responsible for maintaining strong brand identity by developing high quality, effective and engaging communication materials across a range of different media (e.g. print, online, social media etc.) and providing quality assurance for materials developed by others.
  • The role provides expert strategic advice on communications design, strategies and processes to engage stakeholders to ensure all communications strategies and activities are excellent quality and designed for impact. 
  • The Communications and Engagement Lead will have strategic oversight of events management, and the communications and media associated with CEIH events.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC)  for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
