Join Our Caring Team: Community Support Worker

Are you passionate about helping people maintain independence and choice in their daily lives? We’re seeking a flexible and empathetic Community Support Worker to provide personalised support under the Consumer Directed Care model in the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network.

In this role, you’ll support aged, frail, or disabled individuals—whether living at home or in Residential Aged Care—by assisting with personal care, cleaning, meal preparation, transport, and social support. You’ll work closely and collaboratively with consumers, their families, and health professionals, respecting consumer control over shifts, duties, and service providers.

This position requires autonomy, conscientiousness, and a commitment to quality outcomes, helping consumers live with dignity and independence. Eyre & Far North LHN also supports ongoing education and professional development to help you grow your skills and deliver responsive care.

What We're Looking For:

  • Current drivers licence and willingness to drive
  • Current police clearances (refer police check clause)
  • Contactable by telephone
  • Access to a reliable, registered and insured (minimum of third party insurance) motor vehicle.
  • Meet immunisation requirements as outlined by the Immunisation Guidelines for Health Care Workers in South Australia 2014
