Join Our Team as a Clinical Senior Social Worker – Violence, Abuse and Neglect: Lead with Purpose, Protect with Compassion

Are you ready to take on a leadership role where your clinical expertise and commitment to social justice can make a lasting difference? As a Clinical Senior Social Worker – Violence, Abuse and Neglect, you’ll play a key role in protecting vulnerable individuals and families while supporting systems-level reform across rural and remote communities in South Australia.

About the Role:

As the Clinical Senior Social Worker, you will deliver high-quality, trauma-informed social work services while providing clinical and professional leadership to health professionals across the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN). You will be instrumental in embedding best-practice, consumer-focused responses to violence, abuse, and neglect in accordance with SA Health’s Safety Framework and the South Australian Government’s child protection and family safety strategy.

You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop and implement systems that support earlier intervention, culturally safe screening, and appropriate reporting, all while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support and deliver staff training, lead service improvements, and contribute to the development of safe and sustainable models of care across the network.

With your advanced clinical knowledge and leadership, you’ll help build safer communities, advocate for those at risk, and provide direct support to families experiencing complex issues when required. This is your opportunity to lead meaningful change and elevate the quality and safety of care for those who need it most.
