The Digital Health SA Executive Office provides executive support services for the senior DHSA executives and Governance support for the Tier 1 and 2 committees within the Department. The Executive Office manages the coordination and review of Ministerial, CE and CEO correspondence, briefings and high-level third-party requests for DHSA.

About the role

The Executive Support Officer plays a key role in providing effective and efficient confidential executive support services to the divisional executive team. This position is responsible for calendar management, as well as offering comprehensive administrative and project support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing effective and efficient confidential executive support services, including calendar management, to the Divisional Executive team
  • Assisting in administrative and project tasks to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks
  • Delivering a range of administrative services for internal and external executive boards and committees
  • Ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the role
  • Contributing to the overall success of the divisional executive team through proactive support and organisation

  • Experience in providing comprehensive administrative and executive support, including diary management
  • Proficient in preparing business documentation, such as reports, correspondence, and procedures
  • Experienced in using office software, including spreadsheets, word processing, and databases

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC)  for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
