About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Child and Adolescent Virtual Urgent Care Services team as a Clinical Nurse CAVUCS, where you will be responsible for:

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred clinical nursing or midwifery care, including individual case management, within a designated clinical area.
• Monitor and review patient/client care plans daily to ensure desired health outcomes are being achieved.
• Lead and coordinate the delivery of nursing/midwifery care within a team or unit setting.
• Conduct client assessments and, within established guidelines and a multidisciplinary primary healthcare environment, implement and evaluate therapeutic interventions and support programs.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
• Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
• Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision.
•  Ability to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the clinical setting.
