Overview:

  • The Business Manager is accountable to the Nursing Director – Program Director range of the financial, human resources and administrative operations within the Metropolitan Referral Unit (MRU). This includes coordinating, planning and undertaking a range of workforce administration such as recruitment, selection and onboarding processes that support the work of the Nursing Director and MRU.
  • The Business Manager also analyses, maintains and reports on workforce, financial and statistical data, identifies and rectifies anomalies and reviews and advises on savings initiatives.
  • The Business Manager will have a very close working relationship with the MRU Clinical team and interact with relevant staff, as well as NGO providers on a regular basis and will undertake a variety of projects with limited direction.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
  • A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position.

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)

SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
