About the Role

As the Clinical Trial Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting innovative research within the Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit. Working closely with the Clinical Trials Manager, you will help lead and guide nursing staff in the coordination and conduct of clinical trials, ensuring all procedures align with ICH GCP and NHMRC guidelines for ethical human research. With your clinical expertise and at least three years of post-registration experience, you’ll help maintain the highest standards of safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance throughout the trial process.

In this dynamic and rewarding role, you will coordinate all aspects of clinical trial activity—ranging from patient assessments and data collection to ongoing monitoring and reporting—while acting as a key support for patients enrolled in trials. You’ll also contribute to leadership within the unit by managing an Associate Coordinator Portfolio and providing education to both patients and staff. About You

You’re a dedicated and experienced nursing professional who thrives in a team environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care. You bring a proactive approach to leadership and continuous improvement in a dynamic clinical setting.

  • Registered with the Nursing Board of Australia, with a current or eligible practising certificate and a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience.

  • Strong communicator and team player, with proven skills in problem solving, conflict resolution and working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

  • Organised and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work under minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated clinical leadership, with experience supervising staff, contributing to quality improvement, and applying sound knowledge of relevant legislation and nursing standards.
