Overview:
- The SA Health Library Service (SAHLS) provides a high quality, evidence-based library service to support the clinical, educational, research and public health needs of the SA Health workforce.
- The PO2 Reference Librarians participate in the delivery of a high-level reference and information service for SAHLS users, including literature searches, reference work, research support, training in the use of library resources, user education programs and the promotion of Library services.
One position is located within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) library team (working at both Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital – Woodville).
The other position is located within the Women’s and Children’s Health Network (WCHN) library team (based at Women’s and Children’s Hospital, North Adelaide).

For WCHN
- A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)
- A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) is required for this position.
Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
