The Plastics Unit is a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, providing exceptional care and treatment to patients requiring plastic and reconstructive surgical interventions.
About the role:
We are seeking multiple consultants to join our team in these contract positions.
As a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Consultant, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with a wide range of conditions, including congenital deformities, traumatic injuries, and aesthetic concerns. Your surgical skills, coupled with your ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families, will be instrumental in ensuring positive outcomes.
Responsibilities include the provision of specialised care in consulting and emergency clinics, operative surgery, and hospitalised patients.
Your expertise will be invaluable in shaping the future of our surgical services, ensuring we continue to deliver cutting-edge, patient-centric care.
About you:
- Demonstrated high standard of clinical practice in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
- Demonstrated professional integrity, leadership and motivational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated participation in approved continuing medical education since attaining specialist qualification.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Medical Board of Australia. Additionally, you should have a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for delivering exceptional healthcare services.
