About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Yarrow Place team as a Manager, where you will be responsible for:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for Yarrow Place Services, ensuring high-quality psycho-social, health, and medical services for youth and adults of all genders who have experienced sexual assault.
  • Oversee the coordination of state-wide rape and sexual assault service delivery advice, policy, and program development.
  • Develop and implement state-wide plans and strategies to address the needs of people who have experienced rape and sexual assault.
  • Actively contribute to the HaRTSS leadership group through strategic planning, training, team building, and service improvement initiatives for the Division and the Sub Acute and Allied Health Division.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Appropriate Allied Health degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the appropriate board or gives eligibility for the membership of the professional association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in relation to liaison, presentation of complex information and conflict resolution, including an ability to negotiate effectively, influence and relate well to people from a wide range of professional and cultural backgrounds. 
  • Demonstrated high level ability to be innovative, creative and flexible, to apply evidence-based, professional and ethical approaches to analyse and resolve clinical problems, and to support organisational change management. 
  • Extensive experience in organisational management, including delivering strategic and professional leadership, vision and management of a clinical multi-disciplinary service and significant resources, in order to maximise individual, team and service performance.
  • Experience in working in the area of rape and sexual assault, gendered violence or other related service delivery areas, including developing, delivering, managing and evaluating new and innovative clinical and therapeutic services and programs.
