Are you an enthusiastic, compassionate Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in a supportive and dynamic environment? Join our team at Streaky Bay Hospital and play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

As a Registered Nurse, you'll assess individual patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and provide health education and rehabilitation programs to enhance patient outcomes. You’ll also guide and support newer staff, Enrolled Nurses, and students, helping them grow in their nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Person-Centred Care: Assess, plan, and implement care to meet the needs of individual patients.
  • Support Patient Education: Deliver health education, counselling, and rehabilitation programs.
  • Collaborate: Work effectively with a diverse team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Mentor: Support and guide less experienced staff, fostering growth in their nursing practice.
  • Continuous Development: Commit to professional growth and development through training and experience.

About You

  • You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. 
  • Demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards.
  • Have effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads.
  • Be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.
