About the role

We are seeking dedicated and motivated Radiographers (AHP1/AHP2) to join our dynamic medical imaging team. As an AHP1 Radiographer, you will play a vital role in providing essential diagnostic imaging services, utilising advanced radiography equipment to perform standard examinations for patients and clients. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills and progress professionally in a supportive and collaborative environment, contributing to exceptional patient care.

For those at the AHP2 level, you will take on greater responsibilities, performing complex diagnostic imaging across various modalities with minimal professional direction. In addition to your clinical work, you will provide guidance and mentorship to junior radiographers, new graduates, and students, fostering a culture of learning and professional development. Your contributions to approved research initiatives and quality assurance programs will further enhance the excellence of our services. Essential Requirements:

• Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
• Working With Children Check (DHS)
• Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Educational/Vocational Qualifications:

• Appropriate Degree in Medical Radiation and registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner Diagnostic Radiographer with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPB). Must be licensed or eligible to apply for:
• Licence to operate radiation apparatus pursuant to Section 24 of the Radiation Protection and Control Act, SA 2021 (Operation of all diagnostic X-ray apparatus for the purpose of human radiography.)
