About the Role

Strong workplaces don't happen by chance. They happen when leaders have the right support, advice and challenge to bring out the best in their people.

That's where you come in.

As our Senior Human Resource Business Partner, you'll be a trusted advisor to executives and senior leaders across the Limestone Coast Local Health Network, helping them navigate complex people matters, build capable teams and create workplaces where people can thrive.

This isn't a role about processing HR transactions.

It's about influencing outcomes.

Better leadership. Better workforce decisions. Better employee experiences. Stronger organisational capability.

Working across a diverse and geographically dispersed health service, you'll partner with leaders to solve complex workforce challenges, drive people initiatives and provide expert advice on everything from employee relations and workforce planning to organisational change and culture.

What You’ll Be Driving

  • Partnering with executives and managers to deliver practical, strategic people solutions.
  • Supporting leaders through complex employee relations matters, investigations, performance management and workplace issues.
  • Coaching and developing leaders to build confidence in people management and decision making.
  • Contributing to workforce planning, organisational design and service improvement initiatives.
  • Driving positive workplace culture through strong leadership support and employee engagement.
  • Using workforce data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Leading and supporting organisational change initiatives in a complex and evolving healthcare environment.
  • Influencing the future direction of HR practices, policies and workforce strategies across the Network.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who can build credibility, influence decision-making and deliver results.

  • Significant experience providing strategic and operational HR advice to senior leaders.
  • Strong employee and industrial relations expertise, including complex workforce matters and investigations.
  • The ability to navigate sensitive situations with confidence, professionalism and sound judgement.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning and service transformation.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate workforce data into meaningful action.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to challenge constructively when required.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
