About the Role

Join as a Senior Peer Specialist and use your lived experience to support recovery and wellbeing in a mental health setting. Build peer programs, guide teams and help shape services that empower consumers and strengthen community connection.

• Lead and facilitate peer support groups and programs
• Share lived experience to support recovery and wellbeing
• Mentor peer staff and support workforce development
• Contribute to care plans and service improvement
• Build partnerships with teams, consumers and community

About You

You’re a lived experience leader passionate about recovery and peer support. You bring insight, empathy and the ability to connect with consumers, carers and teams to support meaningful outcomes.

• Cert IV in Peer Work, Intentional Peer Support or willingness to obtain
• Lived experience of mental health and recovery
• Experience in peer work and group support settings
• Apply recovery, trauma informed and strengths based care
• Communicate well and work collaboratively with teams
