Take on a highly skilled and rewarding role providing expert clinical care in Palliative Care. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will deliver advanced nursing/midwifery services to individual patients, client groups, or populations while providing clinical leadership to the Palliative Care team. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of clinical settings, using your expertise to improve patient outcomes and guide fellow nurses and midwives in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced clinical nursing/midwifery care within your specialist area of Palliative Care.
- Lead and support nurses/midwives, providing guidance and clinical leadership within the service.
- Coordinate and oversee projects or programs that enhance patient care and service delivery outcomes.
- Accept accountability for your nursing/midwifery practice, the outcomes of care provided, professional advice, and delegated activities.
- Support the Regional Manager Community Nursing or equivalent with service management tasks, including staffing, recruitment, rostering, leave management, work allocation, performance management, and resource planning.
- Develop and expand your capacity for extended practice through clinical exposure, post-graduate qualifications, and mentoring.

- Are you committed to supervising and mentoring students and less experienced staff while maintaining professional standards?

Applicant Information
This is a part time vacancy, working 60.8 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
