About the Role

As the Administration Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of administrative and secretarial support across the Acute Medicine, General Medicine and Geriatric Medicine streams. You will provide positive leadership and day-to-day coordination to a dedicated team, helping them to thrive while ensuring high-quality support services are delivered consistently.

This role will see you working closely with senior staff, managing complex tasks, and reviewing and improving departmental procedures to meet the evolving needs of the organisation. With your strong organisational skills and collaborative approach, you will contribute to a supportive and professional environment that allows both staff and services to perform at their best.

About You

You are an organised and motivated professional who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in providing high-quality administrative support. With strong communication and leadership skills, you are committed to delivering excellent customer service while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all you do.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and support a team, while also working independently to achieve outcomes.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing demands and work under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively and empathetically with diverse stakeholders.

  • Sound knowledge of administrative practices, information systems and Microsoft Office applications, with proven experience in customer service and staff support.
