About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Child Development Unit team as a Administration Manager, where you will be responsible for:

 

  • The day-to-day supervision, performance management and direction of other Administrative Staff within the Unit and for coordinating the Unit’s administrative workload.
  • Ensuring the teams are providing high quality customer service to our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring data capture and related activities are delivered to the highest standard
  • Ensuring patient information is managed securely and in line with WCHN policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring appropriate staff rostering in line with relevant awards and HR guidelines.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to work under limited direction, act with initiative while coping with high volumes of work, deal with competing demands within in a constantly changing environment and monitor the overall service delivery of the units within the role’s remit.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients, members of the public, staff and external agencies, particularly in situations of distress.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in:
    • personal computing including word processing,
    • use of database systems including database concepts, data integrity, analysis and maintenance
    • PC based presentation software, associated media and equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing good customer service and coordinating and delivering a range of secretarial, administrative and/or clerical functions.
  • Experience in staff management, leadership, performance development and coordinating service to patient care.
