WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

Join our dynamic Older Persons Mental Health Services team at Rural and Remote Mental Health Services, providing advanced, specialist mental health care to older adults. This role offers an exciting opportunity for highly skilled nurses to work at an advanced scope (RN4) or as a Nurse Practitioner Candidate (RN3) progressing towards extended practice. You will provide expert clinical care, lead evidence-based initiatives, and contribute to innovative service delivery in a supportive, collaborative environment. This ongoing full-time position offers professional growth, autonomy, and the chance to positively impact the lives of older people and their families.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

  • Provide expert assessment, clinical decision-making, and evidence-based interventions for older persons.
  • Lead, mentor, and support multidisciplinary teams, students, and less experienced nurses.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and service innovations.
  • Contribute to research, education, and professional leadership to enhance mental health outcomes and practice standards.
